The following terms and conditions of sale constitute a binding agreement between Hostesstrolleys.co.uk and its customers which applies to all purchases made on the Hostesstrolleys.co.uk web site. Customers are reminded that these terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully, you may wish to print a copy for future reference. You agree not to change these Terms of Sale from the form presented by Us. All other terms and conditions including those in any order submitted by You are expressly excluded and shall have no effect. All communications made thus far by Us are invitations to treat only. Hostess colour finishes;Computer screens vary in colour, so the colours that you see are representations only. Not exact matches. Be aware also of the natural grain of products which varies between individual products.
Acceptance of Order
1.Your acceptance of these Sale Terms by clicking on the "Accept" button represents an offer of contract from You only and is not binding until accepted by Us either by sending You an email which is received by You explicitly stating this or our dispatching the goods to You with a dispatch note issued to You by us. Receipt of an order via the Hostesstrolleys website by Us does not constitute acceptance of an order. We reserve the right to refuse your offer for any reason.
Any errors or omissions in any catalogue, sales literature, price list, dispatch note, invoice or other documentation or any information issued by Us from time to time shall be subject to correction without liability on Our part. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any order submitted by You, confirming where reasonably requested to do so by Us any telephone orders, and for the giving of such information as is necessary relating to the Sale Terms and delivery (as the case may be) to enable us to deliver the goods to the delivery address notified by You. When writing to Us You must quote your purchase order number.
General Sales
2. All purchases must be paid in full before delivery. Hostesstrolleys.co.uk will continue to own, and reserve the right to repossess any goods sold from its web site until payment has been received and cleared in full. Payments are accepted on most credit or debit cards via our secure server. Please allow 12 working days for clearance of personal cheques. I/We authorise you to make any enquiries you deem necessary in connection with this sale. This information will be used for fraud prevention or debt recovery.
3. All prices quoted are for new products and are priced in pounds sterling including all taxes at current rates. Price includes delivery to any mainland UK address Monday to Friday. An invoice giving a description of the goods purchased and the price paid including VAT will be supplied.
Please note: The delivery charges stated cover ground floor only with a one man delivery.
Delivery
4. We regret we are unable to give timed deliveries. All delivery dates are given in good faith but are subject to all matters beyond the control of the Company: including acts of God, strikes, lockouts and delay by suppliers. Delivery will normally be 5 to 7 working days from the clearance of payment, excepting Christmas periods where this time will be extended.
Guarantee
5. All items come with a 12 months manufacturers guarantee. All goods sold comply with all applicable legislation and consumers are reminded that these items and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Pricing
6. Retail selling prices include delivery and value added tax at the UK standard rate. This is not a TAX invoice.
7. Our buying team at Hostesstrolleys.co.uk is constantly monitoring the major competition to ensure that our prices are as competitive as possible. The term HIGH STREET PRICE is used throughout the site as a comparison to indicate what you could expect to pay for the identical product on the high street. We have chosen to compare with Miller Brothers (Electrical) Ltd for this purpose who have a similar stocking range. Other stores monitored include Currys, Comet and Powerhouse.
Defective or Faulty Products
8. If you believe that the goods you have purchased are defective at any time please report this as soon as possible to the manufacturers (Crosslee plc) customer services 01422 200660. If the goods are within the manufacturers guarantee period arrangements will be made to replace or repair the goods as per the manufactures guarantee. It may be necessary to inspect the goods in your home prior to replacement. Should this inspection prove the fault to be the result of customer misuse then our normal service charge will apply.
Returns and Credits
9. Hostesstrolleys.co.uk has a 7 day unconditional right to cancel policy. This is from the date the order is accepted by Hostesstrolleys. You must exercise the right to cancel an order by informing Hostesstrolleys in writing within the7 days time frame (7 postal days), via recorded delivery for legal reasons. We cannot accept verbal/telephone messages or emails for order cancellations. Due to the nature of our products we cannot accept goods sent back via other couriers.
The uplift will be arranged by ourselves and a collection charge will be made at a cost of £45.00. There will be an additional administration charge of 25% of the purchase price of the goods returned. All items must not have been used, be returned in ‘as new’ condition, complete with original packaging and all delivery notes, instructions and accessories.
10.Hostesstrolleys.co.uk will refund the purchase price of the goods within 30 days of receiving and checking the goods are as new and complete, having deducted any return costs and administration fee if applicable Refunds can only be put on the original payees card or a cheque will be issued made payable to the original customer.
This guarantee is in addition to any warranties or conditions implied by law and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Damaged Goods
11. In the unlikely event of a product being delivered to you damaged, please refuse the goods on delivery & we will organise another appliance to be sent to you asap. Goods should be inspected on delivery. If you are unable to inspect the goods then you MUST sign for them 'unchecked'. Where products are not checked on delivery please ensure they are inspected within 7 days.
12. If you have taken delivery of damaged goods you have a choice of the following options;
- We will collect the product from you and give you a full refund.
- We will deliver a replacement and remove the damaged product.
- If you are happy to keep the product you may be offered compensation.
Privacy Policy
13. Hostesstrolleys.co.uk will never use e-mail to market other products to customers. Any e-mail correspondence will only refer to outstanding queries or orders. You will only be required to provide information required for the transaction. All relevant information given at the time of ordering will be collected.
